If you are a citizen of one of the designated TPS countries, or a non-national who last habitually resided in the designated country, you may register for Temporary Protected Status.
Benefits of obtaining TPS include, but are not limited to:
o Not be removable from the United States.
o You can obtain an employment authorization document (EAD).
o You may be granted travel authorization.
Once you are granted TPS, you must re-register during each re-registration period to maintain TPS benefits.
